How the math works

  1. Concentration (mg/mL) = peptide mg ÷ bac water mL.
  2. Volume per dose (mL) = desired dose mg ÷ concentration mg/mL. If you entered mcg, we convert: 1 mg = 1000 mcg.
  3. Syringe units = volume mL × 100, because a U-100 insulin syringe has 100 units per 1 mL.
